Our founder, P. David Eleazar, was born and raised in Kaplan, a small town in Southwest Louisiana. Many of his friends and family have had their homes and businesses damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Rita. Lives have been turned upside down as a result.

David explains, "In Vermilion Parish, the storm surge flowed over 20 miles inland and flooded homes in locations well above sea level. Many of these people did not have flood insurance and never dreamed their houses would flood."

For the month of October, The Eleazar Group will donate 100% of its profits to the hurricane victims in Vermilion Parish Louisiana. We want to help our friends and family who are suffering.
